Joining a Y-Fitness club could not be easier, membership is designed to be hassle free so you can concentrate on getting fit. Various membership options are available and can include easy pay, lump sum, multi club memberships in Auckland and guest privileges to over 12 clubs nationwide.
Easy Pay:
Our Direct Debit member option means you can pay on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis to suit your pay day. This membership option also gives you access to over 150 clubs New Zealand wide on a special Fit Pass. So if you are traveling outside of Auckland you can continue your workout while on holiday or business.

Corporate Membership
The YMCA has built many partnerships with local business where joining as an organisation has many additional benefits including, specialised Group Fitness classes, membership discounting, team building activity, facility hire and much more. 1) Where are all the Clubs located?
Clubs are located Auckland wide. Please use the Club locator and find the club closest to you.
2) May I use more than one Y-Fitness Club?
Yes, our Y-Fitness Club Card membership gives you the freedom to enjoy all Y-Fitness Clubs Auckland wide. Click on join now to get more information.
3) When are the clubs open?
All Clubs are open 7 days a week from early until late, only closing on official holidays over Christmas and New Year. Each Club’s opening hours vary from location to location depending upon local demands. Please use the Club locator to check opening hours for specific sites.
4) What types of membership do you offer?

5) Do you offer corporate membership?
Yes, we offer a number of corporate memberships for those Clubs serving commercial markets. For further details please click on corporate membership .
6) How much does it cost to join and how can I pay?
Membership rates vary from Club to Club, with all memberships attracting an initial joining fee followed by a monthly subscription paid by direct debit. For details of local rates or special offers please click on join now or call your closest club to make a time to visit.
7) How do I join?
Simply visit the Club and let reception know you wish to sign up, or phone in advance to arrange a suitable time to ensure someone is available to see you straight away. You will need to provide details of your current bank account in order to complete the direct debit mandate. Please also bring your diary so that we may schedule your first few sessions at the Club with a fitness instructor.
8) How often can I pay my Direct Debit?
The Easy pay membership enable you to pay when ever it suits you… weekly, fortnightly 4 weekly or monthly to align with your pay schedule.
9) Can I transfer my membership to another club if I re-locate?
Yes, we encourage you to do so, your easy pay membership can be transferred to any Y-Fitness Club in Auckland or if you move away from Auckland to over 100 clubs nation wide. All you will need to pay is a small transfer fee to cover the administration costs of your move.
10) Where is my membership card, I have not yet received it?
Please contact your Club, as your card should be printed and issued at the time of joining.
11) Can I invite friends as guests?
Yes, your guests are very welcome to visit the club. a guest fee is charged for use of all other facilities. If your friends are keen to join we have a special Membership Referral Programme called Are You Ys which rewards its members for encouraging friends with some great prizes. |
