| Shakespear Regional Park, at the end of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, has a rich natural, cultural and farming heritage. As well as being an operational farm, Shakespear Regional Park also has a wide variety of natural habitats including forest, scrub, beaches, mudflats, intertidal rock pools and salt marsh. The area encompassed within the Park has unique geological sites, Maori pa and burial grounds, and a strong European history.
As a guest at YMCA Shakespear Lodge you are free to explore the delights of the Park both during the day and at night. We are happy to answer questions relating to the Park and to advise you on how to maximise your time here.
