| YMCA Shakespear Lodge is located at the end of the Whangaparaoa Peninsular, right in the middle of Shakespear Regional Park. The original homestead of the ‘Shakespear’ family farm has been looked after by the YMCA for the last 25 years as an outdoor education camp.
Over looking ‘Te Haruhi bay’ and the outer ‘Hauraki Gulf’. guests at lodge have spectacular views and access to one of Auckland’s best regional parks. The 376 hectares of park land is a mix of open farmland, mature and regenerating bush, mudflats and beaches. We are even luckier, as with in the next few years the Regional Park will become an ‘Open Sanctuary’. Imagine the sound of Kiwi calling to each other as your group enjoys your evenings staying at YMCA Shakespear Lodge.
